Green Valley, Minn. — Four people were injured in a three-vehicle collision on Friday in Lyon County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
At 9:13 Friday morning, a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas was traveling north on Highway 23 near Green Valley. A 2011 GMC Acadia and a 2024 Volvo semi were both traveling south on Highway 23 when the three vehicles collided.
The driver of the Volkswagen, 39-year-old Summer Webb of Concho, AZ, and three of her passengers, ages 8, 9, and 15, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center. Two passengers, an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were not injured.
The driver of the GMC, 52-year-old Paula Boogaard of Belgrade, and the driver of the Volvo semi, 41-year-old Rontrell Rivers of York, PA, were not injured.
Assistance was provided by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Marshall North Ambulance, Cottonwood Ambulance, and Marshall Fire Department.
