Deer Collision on Highway 14 Leaves Springfield Man Injured

SPRINGFIELD -- A Springfield man was injured on Thursday after the vehicle he was riding in struck a deer on Highway 14 in Brown County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 6:52 Thursday morning, a 2016 Chevy Silverado was traveling westbound on Highway 14. MARSHALL -- The Lyon County Museum in Marshall opens its 12th Annual Indoor Christmas Tree Walk on Saturday, November 23. The festive display, featuring trees decorated by local families, businesses, and organizations, runs through December 31. Ivanhoe Man Arrested in Drug Bust Involving Methamphetamine Shipment

Ivanhoe – A 59-year-old Ivanhoe man, Joseph Alan Anderson, was arrested Tuesday following a narcotics search at an apartment complex in Ivanhoe. The Buffalo Ridge Drug and Violent Crime Task Force (BRDVCTF), with assistance from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, conducted the operation.  According to a criminal complaint, authorities intercepted a package addressed to Anderson from Henderson, Nevada, at a postal facility in Windom. E. Coli Outbreak in Minnesota Linked to Organic Carrots

The Minnesota Department of Health is urging residents to dispose of recalled organic carrots after they were linked to an E. coli O121 outbreak. Epidemiologist Carlota Medus says, "The E. coli outbreak associated with carrots. It's a type of E. coli, and it's called E. coli O121.
