WINDOM (KMHL) – Another southwest Minnesota county has a positive case of the coronavirus.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, a resident from Cottonwood County has tested positive for the virus.
So far, health officials say the individual is following all requirements and recommendations.
On Friday, a resident from Lincoln County also tested positive. Earlier in the week a resident of Lac Qui Parle County also tested positive for the virus.
Statewide officials said on Sunday there were 503 confirmed cases of the virus in Minnesota, and 9 fatalities.
