Humanity has accomplished a lot over the years. But there hasn’t been much innovation with our breakfast. 163 years since the creation of cereal . . . and we’re just now introducing resealable bags.
That’s right, Cheerios teamed up with Ziploc to create a resealable cereal bag that will help keep cereal fresh longer. And they’re calling it the PantrySeal.
Here’s the best part: The top of the bag partially opens to create a spout to help you pour your cereal better . . . and then it seals back up inside the box.
People have been begging for this mashup for a while now. A survey last year found 90% of people were already using their own tricks to keep cereal fresh . . . like crumpling the bag, clipping it shut, or putting everything into another container.
The PantrySeal will be in boxes of Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios. And it’ll be available exclusively at Walmart.com before rolling out to stores nationwide in the coming months.
