MARSHALL, Minn. — Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle trike crash Sunday afternoon in Lyon County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2009 Honda Trike was traveling westbound on Highway 19 near 330th Avenue in Stanley Township around 1:21 p.m. when it entered the ditch.
The driver, 76-year-old Gary Lee Johnson of Marshall, and his passenger, 75-year-old Kathy Doreen Johnson of Marshall, were both transported to Marshall Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both were wearing helmets. Alcohol was not suspected as a factor, and road conditions were dry.
Assistance was provided by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Milroy Fire Department and Marshall North Ambulance.
