MARSHALL — A Marshall teenager is dead following a two-vehicle collision on Monday in Lyon County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 2:14 Monday afternoon, a 2008 Harley Davidson XL1200 motorcycle was traveling southbound on Highway 23. A 2024 Subaru Forester was also traveling southbound on Highway 23 when the motorcycle rear-ended the Subaru.
The operator of the motorcycle, a 16-year-old boy from Marshall, died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver of the Subaru, 67-year-old Phyllis Kennebeck of Lake Wilson, was not injured.
