The American Music Awards aired last night and Billie Eilish SWEPT with seven awards.  She won every category that she was nominated in, but wasn’t there because she’s on tour in Europe.

Billie got Artist of the Year . . . Album of the Year and Favorite Pop Album for “Hit Me Hard and Soft” . . . Favorite Touring Artist . . . Favorite Female Pop Artist . . . and Song of the Year and Favorite Pop Song for “Birds of a Feather”.

Host Jennifer Lopez kicked off the show with a dance medley of 23 songs in six minutes, including some kisses for backup dancers.

Beyoncé took home Favorite Female Country Artist and “Cowboy Carter” won Favorite Country Album.  Post Malone won Favorite Male Country Artist and he and Morgan Wallen won Favorite Country Song for “I Had Some Help”.

Eminem won his first AMA in 15 years for Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Hip-Hop Album for “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)”Janet Jackson accepted the Icon Award and Rod Stewart got the Lifetime Achievement Award.

And of course, Benson Boone did a huge flip during his performance of “Mystical Magical”.
