Designed to support farmers and agriculture enthusiasts at all stages—whether beginners, seasoned professionals, or mid-career experts—the conference will offer insights into balancing family life and agricultural operations. Topics include farm business management, healthy soils, pasture management, goal setting, ag product marketing, and childcare planning within farm business strategies.
“The conference will focus on farm business management and production, including topics such as farm finances, healthy soils, pasture management, balancing it all, goal setting, integration of crops and livestock, including childcare planning into business planning, MDA grant information, ag product marketing, managing social presence, and wellbeing and resilience. There’s something for everyone,” said Susanne Hinrichs, agricultural business management educator with U of M Extension.
This year, two micro-grants will be available through the Minnesota Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier (LDEI). Organizers aim to expand scholarship opportunities with additional sponsorships.
