Verne Long, age 96, of Pipestone, Minnesota, died peacefully on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Communities of Pipestone. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peace United Methodist Church in Pipestone with a Masonic Service held prior to visitation at 3:30 PM. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Peace United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the New Woodlawn Cemetery in Pipestone. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hartquist Funeral Home – Pipestone Chapel.
