Do you enjoy playing Bingo, completing puzzles? Then come and join in on the fun April 7th at the Wood Lake Community Center. Lunch starts at 11:30 am and serves throughout the day. Options include walking tacos, hot dogs, chips, & beverages. The puzzle challenge and bingo starts at 12:30 pm. Payouts for the puzzle challenge include 1st & 2nd place and bingo has prizes per game. Join in at the Wood Lake Community Center Sunday, March 10th 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. for the annual Wood Lake Fire Dept. Pancake Feed. $5 suggested or free will donation. All proceeds going towards SCBAs. Menu includes fresh pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk, & juice.

Let the Wood Lake fire department cook fried fish with all the fixings for you. Join in on the good food February 10th at the Wood Lake Community Center from 5 - 8 p.m. Woody's Bar will be there serving beverages. The fry will be a free will donation, 15$ is suggested. All proceeds from the fry will go to the fire department to help pay for new SCBAs.

Wood Lake Santa Days are going on December 19th starting at 1 p.m. at the Wood Lake Community Center.

There will be a benefit held for Missy Torgerson November 18th from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Wood Lake Community Center .There will be a DJ playing music alongside soup & sandwiches, as well as baked goods for sale. It will be a free will donation. Missy was diagnosed July 24th, 2023 with invasive high grade bladder cancer, all proceeds from the event will go to Missy to help with her medical expenses.

Every year, the small town of Wood Lake (population 400) has a small community fair. This will be our 82nd year. It is always held on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday night. We have a carnival and several events - Monday, our Scavenger Hunt begins, we have the Exhibits Entry, Coloring Contest Entry, Children's Pedal Pull, Firemen's Water Fights & Raffle Drawing. Tuesday is Exhibits, Pie & Ice Cream Social, a Variety Show with several talented people participating, and Livin' Rich Entertainment (DJ/Karaoke), along with 80's Dress Up.
