Master Gardeners The Trees that Help Us Breath: for kids in K-5

The University of Minnesota extension master gardener program has some gardening classes open to the public all at the Lyon County Library. May 18th @ 10:00 a.m. - The Trees that Help Us Breath: for kids in K-5 with Master Gardener Sue Morton   These events are presented through the Minnesota Extension Service Master Gardener Volunteer Program. Founded in 1977, the program now includes over 2,300 active master gardeners in almost every county of the state of Minnesota. Live Radio Skit Featuring: The Stache

Readers Café Live – Mary Seifert Author Visit

Marshall Lyon-County Library's Reader's café live welcomes contemporary mystery writer Mary Seifert of Willmar, Minnesota to the Marshall Lyon-County Library on Thursday, October 5th at 6:30 p.m. for an author visit. Seifert is the Author of the Katie & Maverick cozy mysteries series. She is a member of the Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, the American Cryptogram Association, Dog Writers of America, and PEO.

Season of Giving Event Marshall: Crafts and Card-Making

SEASONOFGIVING On November, 10th from 5:30-7Pm, individuals and family members of all ages impacted by epilepsy are invited to join EFMN at the Marshall Public Library for dinner, conversation, crafts, and card making to share with local residents of long term care facilities during the holiday season. Family Camp Fire Story Hour

Join Marshall Lyon County Library staff around the campfire at 6pm in the North Picnic Area for stories and activities. Also be on the lookout for the library’s new book bike! This event is free; there is no park entrance fee on Saturday, June 11.
