The United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) successfully hosted its first-ever RADIO-A-THON, raising $4,235 to support local community initiatives. The event, held in partnership with Marshall Radio, aimed to increase awareness and funding for UWSWMN’s mission while engaging listeners through inspiring stories and interviews.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who tuned in, our wonderful guests who shared their stories, and our generous sponsors who made this event possible,” said Meg Louwagie, CEO of UWSWMN. “The support from Marshall Radio and the community has been overwhelming, and we are thrilled with the outcome.”

The broadcast featured interviews with past and present Board Members, Executive Directors, volunteers, and community partners, offering insight into UWSWMN’s impact. All proceeds from the event will go toward Community Impact Grants, ensuring the funds directly benefit local causes.

A special thanks was extended to Marshall Radio and event sponsors, including Kruse Motor Group, Jana Reilly Home Team – Keller Williams Realty, Leading Edge Credit Union, Lockwood Motors, Fixen Chiropractic, Wings Axe Company, and Hitching Post.
