MARSHALL — United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) is preparing to award Community Impact Grants to local nonprofits for the 2025-26 fiscal year and is seeking volunteers to help review applications.

These grants support programs focused on youth opportunities, financial security, food access, and community resilience. In the 2024-25 fiscal year, UWSWMN funded 14 programs across 10 partner agencies, including organizations that provide crime victim services, food assistance, and youth development programs.

Volunteers will review grant applications between April 29 and May 21, with an opportunity to discuss funding requests with nonprofit representatives.

The deadline for nonprofits to apply for funding is April 4. More information on volunteering for grant review panels is available at the United Way of Southwest Minnesota website.
