MARSHALL — United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) has announced the opening of its Community Impact Grant application process, starting March 6, 2025. These grants support local programs in the areas of Youth Opportunity, Healthy Communities, Financial Security, and Community Resilience, benefiting residents across several counties in southwest Minnesota.
Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, public schools, and government units that serve individuals within UWSWMN’s service area. New grant requests are encouraged, provided they meet the organization’s guidelines.
First-time applicants must attend a free grant workshop, offered in person on March 6 at 9:30 a.m. and March 14 at 2:00 p.m. Applications are due by April 4, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., with no extensions available. Community volunteers will review submissions, and final funding decisions will be made by the UWSWMN board.
