ADRIAN — Two people were injured when their vehicle struck a deer Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 90 in Nobles County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 1:28 Wednesday afternoon, a 2017 Hyundai was traveling westbound on I-90 in Olney Township of Nobles County when it struck a deer.
The driver of the Hyundai, 32-year-old Lessen Osvaldo Palmocano of Sioux Falls, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Worthington Hospital.
His passenger, 40-year-old Carlos Armando Rojasbarrientos of Sioux Falls, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the Worthington Hospital.
Assistance was provided by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Adrian Fire Department, and Adrian Ambulance.
