LUCAN – Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon when their vehicle left the roadway near Lucan on Highway 68, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 5:57 Wednesday afternoon, a 2015 Dodge Durango was traveling westbound on Highway 68 in Granite Rock Township near Lucan, when the vehicle left the roadway at the intersection with Garden Avenue.
The driver of the Dodge, 30-year-old Brianna Lyn Rasmussen of Redwood Falls, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to CentraCare Redwood Hospital.
Her passenger, 26-year-old Brandon Timothy Hoffman of Sleepy Eye, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to the CentraCare Redwood Hospital.
Assistance was provided by the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Wabasso Ambulance, Wabasso Fire and Rescue, and CentraCare Ambulance.
