LAKE BENTON — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday in Lincoln County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 8:03 Saturday evening, a 2014 GMC Acadia was traveling northbound on Highway 75 and a 2015 GMC Yukon was traveling westbound on County Road 13 when the vehicles collided in the intersection.
The driver of the Acadia, 47-year-old Kristine Notch of Clarkfield, and her passenger, 20-year-old Alliya Cochrane of Clarkfield, both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the Tyler hospital. The report notes Cochrane wasn’t wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Yukon, 35-year-old Jarod Murray, and his passengers, 35-year-old Danielle Murray and two children, ages six and eight, were not injured.
