HOLLAND, Minn. — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday in Pipestone County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Wednesday at 1:09 p.m., a 2011 Chevy Silverado was traveling southbound on Highway 23, and a 2022 Kia Sorento was traveling northbound on Highway 23 near Holland in Pipestone County. The Kia attempted to turn onto 140th Avenue when the vehicles collided.
The driver of the Kia, 76-year-old Donald Noyes of Sioux Falls, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. His passenger, 72-year-old Sharon Noyes of Sioux Falls, sustained life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to the Pipestone Hospital.
The driver of the Chevy, 34-year-old Tylan Gylling, and his passenger, 20-year-old Carson Gylling, were not injured.
Assistance was provided the Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office, Pipestone EMS, Holland Fire Department and First Responders.
