Marshall (Learfield)- The American Lung Association is turning the state turquoise this week.

The organization says the goal is to raise awareness of lung cancer and educate folks about life-saving screenings available.

The association says major landmarks in Minnesota will be lit turquoise including Allianz Field, Target Field, Capella Tower, and the Mayo Clinic.

Lung cancer is the nation’s leading cancer killer. In 2022 alone, it is estimated that nearly four-thousand Minnesotans will be diagnosed with lung cancer.
