Timothy Aloysius Lipinski was born on April 5, 1957 in Canby, Minnesota, the oldest child of Aloysius and Alice (Rolling) Lipinski. He was baptized at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Wilno, MN where he was a parishioner his entire life. Upon graduation from Ivanhoe Public School in 1975, he briefly attended Canby Vocational School for agri-business. Tim farmed with his parents for many years until their retirement. Tim continued to operate the family farm until an illness forced him to move into Ivanhoe in 2015.  He was a good friend to many and was very grateful for the assistance his friends provided him through the years, including helping him with his farm. Tim was a walking encyclopedia when it came to history. It was difficult to stump him on a question about history. He could easily rattle off names of Roman Emperors or other facts at the drop of a hat. His love of baking was enjoyed by many. He always had a good idea for a recipe handy in case someone needed one. Tim recently became active on Facebook and posted many photos and memes. He said his reason for posting these was to help people de-stress during Covid.

Tim passed away on March 23, 2021 and joined other family members who preceded him in death; his parents; infant sister, Mary Alice and brothers: Thomas and Patrick.

He is survived by his sisters: Kara (Peter) McCormick of Sioux Falls, SD, Brigid Lipinski of Woodbury, MN and Alice (Rory) Gilbert of Cottage Grove, MN; and five nieces and one nephew: Meghan (Joe) Fafinski, Shannon McCormick, Alyssa, Gemma, Grace and Aaron Gilbert.
