Rocky’s love for the outdoors began at an early age, camping, fishing, and hunting with his family. Rocky was a dedicated Boy Scout where he learned many lifelong skills. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1981. After obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality from SMSU, Rocky worked for Marriott Hotels. After a few years in the hospitality industry, Rocky embarked on a 30 plus year career working for Retail Data Systems in Eden Prairie, MN. He truly loved his work traveling the country, sharing his technical skills, and building lifelong friendships along the way. When Rocky wasn’t working, he had many passions. He enjoyed quality time with family, friends, his cats, cooking, gardening, traveling, boating on the Mississippi River, and camping. Later in life, Rocky fought a courageous battle with cancer.
