MORTON – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision near Morton on Sunday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 10:37 Sunday morning, a 2013 Chevy Malibu and a 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo were both traveling westbound on Highway 71 near Morton when they collided. 

The driver of the Malibu, 19-year-old Brianna Elizabeth Degonda of Redwood Falls, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Redwood Falls hospital. 

The driver of the Monte Carlo, 64-year-old Marchell Louise Haines of Fairfax, and her passenger, 71-year-old Jame Lee Cuff of Fairfax, both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were also taken to the Redwood Falls hospital.
