Have you ever gone out of your way to visit a famous tourist spot, and then you get there and you’re a little disappointed?
Well, this list might save you some time in the future. A woman visited all 50 states . . . and then revealed the seven tourist spots that are the most overrated. Here’s her list . . .
1. The Las Vegas Strip. Head to Fremont Street instead . . . it’s just as fun, but half the price.
2. Times Square
3. Mount Rushmore
4. The Four Corners Monument at the intersection of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah. (Unless you like looking at cement.)
5. Bourbon Street. Skip the tourist trap and head to Frenchmen Street instead.
6. The southernmost point in the continental U.S., which is just a statue at the very end of Key West, Florida.
7. Salem, Massachusetts. But to be fair, just stay away in October during witchy season. That’s when most tourists flock there.
