MARSHALL (KMHL) – There was some good news and a little bit of a surprise for students and parents in the Marshall School District this week.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Program will continue to help families this fall. Marshall Public Schools learned last week they will have the option to continue the program, which provides grab-and-go meals for children through the spring and summer.

The program will mean a big savings for parents in the Marshall School District. The federal funding is available through Dec. 31.
