Sleepy Eye police warn of attempted abduction Tuesday

SLEEPY EYE (KMHL) – Authorities in Sleepy Eye are warning of an attempted abduction that occurred in that community early Tuesday.

According to Sleepy Police, a teenage female reported that a white male asked her repeatedly to get into his car as she was walking along 4^th Avenue in Sleepy Eye.

The victim told authorities the vehicle followed her even after she started running home.

Police are looking for a male in his 40s with a buzz cut and a brown goatee – the vehicle was described as a small gray car.
