DARFUR – One man is dead, and another is in critical condition following a two-semi collision in Watonwan County on Wednesday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 8:23 Wednesday morning, a 1995 Freightliner semi was traveling eastbound on Highway 30 and a 1998 Kenworth semi was traveling southbound on County Road 5 when the trucks collided in the intersection.
The driver of the Freightliner, 31-year-old Dylan Robert Maas of Sleepy Eye, died at the scene. The driver of the Kenworth, 32-year-old Cody James Crowley of Golden Valley, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to the HCMC hospital.
