Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani made history last month when he became the first Major League player to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in a single season.

Well, the ball from his record-breaking 50th home run hit the auction block and just broke ANOTHER record.  It sold for $4.392 MILLION, which is now the most paid for a baseball . . . or ANY sports ball.

The previous record was held by Mark McGwire’s 70th home run ball from 1998 . . . it sold for $3 million.
