WASHINGTON, D.C. (LEARFIELD) – U-S Senator Amy Klobuchar is defending the F-B-I raid at former President Trump’s residence in Florida.
The Minnesota Democrat tells N-B-C’s “Meet the Press” that the investigation goes beyond politics:
“The law is king,” said Klobuchar. “The president isn’t king and I would add that the former president isn’t king. Everyone has to follow the laws.”
Klobuchar says the recent threats against the F-B-I following the search for classified records at Trump’s Mar-a-Largo residence are especially concerning.
Some Republicans say the search is an abuse of power by the Biden administration.
