(Two Harbors, MN) — Authorities on the North Shore are investigating after a rock crashed through the windshield of a vehicle on Highway 61 in Two Harbors, injuring one occupant. Officers say the victim was taken to a local hospital and later transferred to Duluth for treatment. The Two Harbors Police Department is asking for information from anyone who was driving near the Burlington Bay Campground, Lakeview Golf Course, or along Highway 61 around 2 p-m Friday. Investigators are hoping someone who witnessed the incident will come forward. This incident comes just days after three teenagers were arrested for a rock-throwing incident involving cars in Colorado.
