DANUBE (KMHL) – A two vehicle crash between a Chrysler Van and a semi-truck on Renville County highway 1 killed a 59-year-old Redwood Falls woman yesterday.
The Renville County Sheriff’s Office says Bonita Durbin, of Redwood Falls, was killed when the van she was driving crossed the center line and struck a 2014 Mack Truck driven by a Spicer man.
Authorities say the crash occurred yesterday around 1:30 about seven miles south of Danube.
Sheriff’s officials say both the van and semi overturned following the collision. The semi’s driver, Justin Hegreberg, 37, of Spicer, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
