REDWOOD FALLS – The Redwood Falls Police Department (RFPD) reminds residents that no parking is allowed on city streets during a snow emergency. A snow emergency went into effect in Redwood Falls this morning at 5:00AM, and the RFPD has found several vehicles violating the snow emergency declaration by parking on city streets.

Due to the multi-day nature of this storm the emergency declaration will remain in effect until 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 24th so plows can continue moving snow from the roadway.

RFPD will be issuing parking citations for vehicles parked on city streets during the snow emergency and vehicles that have not been moved after 24 hours are subject to tow.
