MORTON — A Redwood Falls man and Gibbon woman were injured in a one-vehicle accident in Renville County Thursday evening. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 8:40 Thursday evening, a 2009 Ford F-150 was traveling westbound on Highway 19. Near the intersection with Highway 71 in Morton, the vehicle left the roadway and landed in the ditch.
The driver of the Ford, 47-year-old Todd Allen Kraus of Redwood Falls, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Redwood hospital. His passenger, 49-year-old Cory Marianna Bluhm of Gibbon, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Centra Care in St. Cloud.
Assistance was provided by Morton Fire and Medical, Centra Care Ambulance, Renville County Sheriff’s Office, and the Lower Sioux Police Department.
