LAMBERTON, Minn. — A one-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Redwood County is under investigation, with impairment suspected. 

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at about 11:10 a.m. Sunday, September 13, near the intersection of County Highway 15 and Jade Avenue, about two miles east of Lamberton.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the driver, identified as Thomas Jeffery Lammers, was found walking westbound from the crash. Lammers was transported by ambulance to Sleepy Eye Medical Center for suspected injuries. 

Authorities say the 2002 Ford Explorer left the roadway, traveled into both the south and north ditches, and then entered a cornfield before coming to a stop. 

Impairment is suspected, and the case remains under investigation. No arrests have been made, and charges are pending. 

The Lamberton Fire Department, Lamberton Ambulance and CentraCare Ambulance assisted at the scene.
