WINDOM (KMHL) – Police in Windom are warning the public about an attempted abduction that occurred in that community on Friday afternoon.
Windom Police say the incident was reported shortly before 2:30 that afternoon. Authorities say an 11-year-old boy was riding his bike when a blue, four-door Ford sedan pulled up next to him, a man got out and told the boy to get into the vehicle.
The boy was able to run home.
Authorities say the man is described as 6-feet tall, with darker skin, tattoos on both arms, short hair and no facial hair.
