RICHMOND, Minn. — A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night in Stearns County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2024 Ford Bronco was traveling southbound on Highway 23 near St. Francis Street in Richmond when it collided with the pedestrian around 10:18 p.m.
The pedestrian, identified as Grant George Rossberg of Richmond, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol says alcohol was suspected in Rossberg’s condition.
The driver, 39-year-old Jessie Elizabeth Trevino of Clements, and 38-year-old passenger Guadalupe Dejesus Trevino of Clements were not injured. Both were wearing seat belts.
The crash remains under investigation.
