This exhibit aims to bring Oscar Howe’s life and artistic legacy to community spaces across the region. The exhibit features eight banners that explore the artistic development and biographical details of the Yanktonai Dakota artist who helped to expand the definition and understanding of Native arts. The exhibit will be on display at the Pipestone County Museum from September 16-30. It will then travel to Pipestone Area Schools where it will be on display for students in the MS/HS [...]

Pipestone County Museum 113 S Hiawatha Ave, Pipestone, MN, United StatesFERRIS GRAND FUNDRASING EVENT The Pipestone County Historical Society is once again hosting a Fundraising event in the beautiful, historic Pipestone Masonic Lodge room. This event will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the second floor of the Ferris Grand Block located at 106 East Main Street. This is a ticketed event. The event will feature a four-course steak dinner provided by the Pipestone County Cattlemen and Staci’s Bar & Grill. Entertainment and games will be offered throughout the evening.
