June 14 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Join fellow movie aficionados to watch one of two films at the Marshall Library! Movie Club, which is geared toward adults and teens, will show a feature in the community room. We’ll also have a kid’s film in the children’s library! June’s Movie Club film stars Danny Kaye in this musical comedy adventure of a plot against an evil king. Free and open to anyone. After the movie in the community room, there will be a brief discussion to share your thoughts. Meets starting at 11 am during the summer.

June 21 @ 9:00 am - 1:30 pm Be constructive at your library! Drop in make your own LEGO or DUPLO creations in the Children’s Library or work together to assemble a puzzle or fancy LEGO set in the Teen area or by the fireplace. We’ll also have KEVA blocks, K’nex, and other building and mechanical sets available.

June 26 @ 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM Catch the Rhythm of Reading and join the “Spoon Man” Jim Cruise for a comedic musical show for all ages! Jim has over 35 years of experience playing the spoons. Learn more about The Spoon Man at getspooned.com . This performance will take the place of our usual Thursday storytime.

June 28 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Drop in to the Marshall Library for a community crafting event! All ages are welcome to come and create. In June, we’ll have a variety of crafts, including painting rocks for our Kindness Rock Garden.

June 30 @ 6:15 pm - 7:45 pm The MORE Network in partnership with the Marshall-Lyon County Library presents The MORE Network Book Club. MORE Network members will lead discussions on several titles throughout the year. Anyone is welcome to read and join the discussions. Come to one or several meetings! Walk-ins are welcome for in-person meetings, and anyone can sign up for a link to any Zoom meeting. Books are available at the Marshall Library. All 2025 meetings will be held from 6:15 to 7:45 pm.
