CLEAR LAKE, SD (KMHL)– Emergency Crews were dispatched to Tech Ord northeast of Clear Lake, SD for an explosion with a person injured Sunday afternoon. The explosion happened outside of the buildings and one male was pronounced dead upon the arrival of emergency crews. Nobody else was injured in the incident.
The Deuel County Sheriff’s Office along with the ATF and South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation are investigating the incident. Tech Ord has is cooperating with the investigation.
The Deuel County Ambulance, Clear Lake Fire Department, Deuel County Sheriff’s Office, Deuel County Coroner’s Office, South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation South Dakota Fire Marshal’s Office and ATF responded to the scene.
