LUVERNE — A North Carolina man is dead after his motorcycle collided with a road grader in Rock County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 10:39 Tuesday morning, a 2024 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on Interstate 90 when it struck a 2000 John Deere Road Grader in a construction zone.
The operator of the Harley, 41-year-old David Martin Houck of Durham, North Carolina, died from injuries sustained in the accident. Houck was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash.
The driver of the road grader, 31-year-old Brandon Buddy Feeken of Rushmore, was not injured.
