The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports the following incidents: 

On Friday at 2:33 p.m., the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop in the 3100 block of County Road 22 near Cottonwood for a suspected drunken driver. After investigating, a 43-year-old Cottonwood woman was arrested for 3rd Degree Controlled Substance DWI.  

On Saturday at 12:25 p.m., the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic incident in the 1000 block of Eastbay Avenue near Balaton. A 55-year-old Balaton man was arrested for domestic assault. 


The Marshall Police Department reports the following incidents: 

On Friday at 1:32 a.m., a traffic stop was performed near the intersection of South 1st Street and West Greeley Street. After investigating, a 25-year-old Marshall man was arrested for DWI. 

On Friday at 4:36 a.m., a traffic stop was performed near the intersection of Park Avenue and East College Drive. After investigating, a 42-year-old Marshall man was cited for driving after cancellation. 

On Friday at 4:37 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported near the intersection of East College Drive and South Bruce Street. The matter is under investigation. 

On Saturday at 1:16 a.m., a traffic stop was performed near the intersection of East Main Street and Canoga Park Drive. After investigating, a 36-year-old Marshall man was arrested for DWI. 

On Saturday at 6:51 p.m., a domestic incident was reported in the 600 block of North Bruce Street. After investigating, a report was sent to the county attorney’s office for a juvenile matter. 

On Saturday at 9:34 a.m., a traffic stop was performed in the 900 block of West Main Street. After investigating, a 39-year-old Minneota man was arrested for ineligible possession of ammunition and DWI.
