MONTEVIDEO (KMHL) – Authorities say a Montevideo man is dead after a motorcycle crash that occurred in Montevideo on Wednesday evening.
Police say Mario Isaac Salazar, 27, Montevideo, was killed in the accident and fire that occurred around 9:30 Wednesday night. Details on exactly what happened are still a little unclear, but Salazar was pronounced dead after he was transported to the Chippewa County Montevideo hospital.
It is unclear if Salazar was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. An autopsy is being conducted by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office in Anoka.
