MONTEVIDEO (LEARFIELD) – A Chippewa County jury has convicted a Montevideo man of charges following a crash that claimed the life of his girlfriend last August.

Braxton Anderson, 35, of Montevideo, was found guilty of criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation following the August of 2019 crash that took the life of Brittany Schultz, 20, of Appleton.

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension claimed that test results showed drugs in Anderson’s system at the time of the crash.

Anderson is set to be sentenced September 22nd.
