Semi-truck collision leaves one injured
A semi operator was injured when his truck collided with another semi. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 9:00 Wednesday morning, an International Grain Hauler was traveling southbound on Highway 271 and an International Lowboy was traveling westbound on 300th Street. The Lowboy attempted to turn onto Highway 271 when the vehicles collided in the intersection.
The driver of the 2020 International Lonestar tractor, 26-year-old Marno Jacques Odendahl from Toronto, South Dakota, received non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Hendricks Hospital. The driver of the other semi, 21-year-old Kyle Langenhoven from Toronto, South Dakota, was not injured.
Assistance was provided by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
Two-vehicle collision leaves one injured
A Cottonwood man was injured when his vehicle collided with another vehicle. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 9:11 Wednesday morning, a 2022 Ford F350 was traveling northbound on Highway 23 and attempting to turn onto County Road 38. A 2008 Saturn Vue was also traveling northbound on Highway 23 when the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Saturn, 67-year-old Manuel Vielmas Cardiel of Cottonwood, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Granite Falls Hospital. The driver of the Ford, and his passenger, were not injured.
Assistance was provided by the Granite Falls Police Department, and Granite Falls Ambulance.
Two-vehicle collision leaves two injured
A Spicer man and a Montevideo woman were injured when their vehicles collided. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 9:14 Wednesday morning, a 2002 Toyota Corolla was traveling westbound on Highway 7 and a 2007 Volkswagen Beetle was traveling eastbound on Highway 7 when they collided near 50th Avenue SE.
The driver of the Toyota, 60-year-old Timothy Cordeon Lucas of Spicer, received non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Volkswagen, 23-year-old Allesondra Joan Kulberg of Montevideo, received non-life-threatening injuries. Both drivers were transported to Montevideo Hospital.
