Dawson Man Injured in Rollover Accident
APPLETON — A Dawson man was injured when his vehicle left the road and rolled on Highway 119 in Lac Qui Parle County Monday evening. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 5:41 Monday evening, a 2001 Dodge Caravan was traveling northbound on Highway 119 in Hantho Township of Lac Qui Parle County when it left the roadway and rolled.
The driver of the Dodge, 42-year-old Ryan George Bunn of Dawson, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Johnson Memorial Hospital. The report notes Bunn was not wearing his seat belt.
Assistance was provided by the Lac Qui Parle County Sheriff’s Office.
Ihlen Woman Injured After Collision with Semi
IHLEN — An Ihlen woman was injured when her vehicle collided with a semi on Highway 23 in Pipestone County Monday morning. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 11:36 Monday morning, a 2014 Chevy Captiva was traveling northbound on Highway 23, and a 2001 Peterbilt Semi was traveling southbound on Highway 23 when they collided.
The driver of the Chevy, 32-year-old Erin Jo Lanie of Ihlen, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Pipestone County Medical Center.
The driver of the Peterbilt, 64-year-old Timothy Roger Westling of Little Falls, was not injured.
Assistance was provided by the Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office, Pipestone Fire Department and EMS.
Vesta Man Injured After Colliding with Parked Tow Truck
REDWOOD FALLS – A Vesta man was injured when he collided with a parked tow truck on Highway 19 in Redwood County Monday morning. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 11:13 Monday morning, a 2019 Chevy Equinox was traveling westbound on Highway 19 when it collided with a 2006 Chevy Silverado tow truck, which was parked on the shoulder.
The driver of the Equinox, 85-year-old Burton Ervin Mock of Vesta, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Redwood Falls Hospital.
The driver of the tow truck, 65-year-old Charles Warren Nelson of Redwood Falls, was not injured.
Assistance was provided by the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Redwood Falls Police Department, and Redwood Falls EMS.
Deer Collision Hospitalizes Lakefield Woman
ADRIAN – A Lakefield woman was injured when her vehicle struck a deer on I-90 in Nobles County Monday morning. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 6:30 Monday morning, a 2001 Chevy Trailblazer was traveling westbound on I-90 in Westside Township of Nobles County when it struck a deer.
The driver of the Chevy, 50-year-old Kerry Ellen Schmidt of Lakefield, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sanford Health.
