Funeral Services have been set for Mitchell Jarmer of Westbrook who passed away at the age of 24 on Monday, July 26th as the result of an automobile accident near Alpha, Minnesota. Memorial Services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Currie, MN on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. with Fr. Thien Nguyen officiating. The organist is Patty LeClaire with special music by the IHM Choir. The honorary pallbearers are his nieces and nephews. Interment is at Calvary Cemetery in Currie, MN. Visitation will be on Friday, July 30, 2021, at IHM Church in Currie, MN from 4-7 P.M. and also one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.
Mitchell Lewis Jarmer was born on December 9, 1996, in Windom, Minnesota to Larry and Sandra “Sandy” Schmitz Jarmer. He grew up on the farm south of Westbrook and graduated from Westbrook High School in 2015, that same year he started working for SS Electric in Avoca, MN. He attended Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Jackson, MN graduating in 2017. On August 24, 2019 he and Tarynn Dallenbach were married at Living Word Church in Marshall, MN. Following their marriage, they made their home on an acreage northwest of Westbrook and Mitchell continued working for SS Electric. Mitchell had just received his Journeyman license. Mitchell passed away as the result of an accident near Alpha, MN on Monday, July 26, 2021, at the age of 24. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Currie, MN. Mitchell also was a member of the Westbrook Volunteer Fire Department. Mitchell enjoyed time spent with family and friends, being an uncle, Friday nights at the Westbrook VFW, fishing, attending races, playing sand volleyball, and farming.
Survivors include his wife, Tarynn Jarmer and their two furry kids, Shiloh and Phoebe of Westbrook, MN, his parents, Larry and Sandy Jarmer of Westbrook, MN, three siblings and their spouses, Michael and Darian Jarmer of Dundee, MN, Kassandra and Austin Quade and their two children, Sawyer and Cason of Westbrook, MN, Molly and Ben Pacholl and their two children, Lauren and Luke of Dubuque, IA, maternal grandfather, Norbert Schmitz of Slayton, MN, paternal grandmother, Darlene Jarmer of Dundee, MN, parents-in-law, Terry and Lisa Dallenbach of Walnut Grove, MN, four brothers and sisters-in-law, Megan and Bryan Weber and their two children, Charley and Korey of Lamberton, MN, Nate Dallenbach of Mankato, MN, Mason Dallenbach of Walnut Grove, MN and London Dallenbach of Walnut Grove, maternal grandfather, Gary Pilaczynski of walnut Grove, MN, and several aunt, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal, grandmother, Leona “Onie” Schmitz, and paternal grandfather, Vernon Jarmer, maternal grandmother-in-law, Sharon Pilaczynski, and paternal grandparents-in-law, Jim and Carol Dallenbach.
