SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota is suing an e-cigarette manufacturer over the alleged illegal sale of flavored vaping products that appeal to minors.

Attorney General Keith Ellison announced Wednesday that the state has filed a lawsuit in Ramsey County against Maduro Distributors, which does business as Loon. The lawsuit alleges the company illegally manufactured, distributed and sold nicotine products in flavors including Cotton Candy, Strawberry Popsicle and Banana Taffy.

The state is seeking a permanent injunction and financial penalties.
