MINNEOTA, Minn. — A Minneota man was pronounced dead following a two-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon on Highway 68 in Lyon County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At 2:24 Friday afternoon, a 2018 GMC Terrain and a 2006 Chevy Corvette were traveling eastbound on Highway 68 when the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Chevy, 76-year-old Edward Lozinksi of Minneota, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the GMC, 21-year-old Hailey Pederson of Echo, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Avera Marshall ER.
Assistance was provided by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Minneota Fire Department & First Responders, and Marshall North Ambulance.
