Mike’s Cafe to close until further notice

MARSHALL (KMHL) – A longtime fixture in the Marshall restaurant scene has announced that it is closing until further notice.

According to a post on the Mike’s Cafe Facebook page, the restaurant announced they are closing. In the post, owners thanked all of their loyal customers and their amazing staff.

They added they had hoped it wouldn’t come to this, but unfortunately it has.

Minnesota restaurants were forced to close in March amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Many, including Mike’s opened for to go service, but for many restaurants that has not been enough to help them sustain their businesses.
