Marshall, Minn. — Republicans in Minnesota’s Seventh Congressional District endorsed U.S. Rep. Michelle Fischbach at their annual convention held Saturday, April 25, in Marshall.

According to a news release, more than 500 delegates, alternates, guests, legislators and candidates attended the convention. Delegates also considered and approved resolutions to advance to the state party platform.

Several Republican candidates for statewide offices, including governor, secretary of state, state auditor, attorney general and U.S. Senate, addressed attendees ahead of the Minnesota Republican State Convention scheduled for late May in Duluth.

The district also hosted a public training session the day before the convention focused on voter outreach. Organizers said more than 200 people attended a banquet Friday evening connected to the event.
