MaryAnn Huck, age 89, of Minneota and formerly of Marshall and Russell, Minnesota, died on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center in Marshall.  Private Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Grace First Parish in Russell, Minnesota.  Interment will follow in the Russell Cemetery.  A walk-through Public Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2020, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall, Minnesota.  Occupancy limits and social distancing must be observed throughout.

MaryAnn Delores Huck was born on December 23, 1930, in Canby, Minnesota, to Rudolf and Gudrun (Helgamo) Swenson.  She was raised outside Canby on the family farm and attended country school.  MaryAnn was baptized as an infant and confirmed at the Lutheran Church in Canby.  Following her education, she helped her parents on the farm.  Years later MaryAnn met Clarence Huck at a dance in Boyd, Minnesota, and the couple was united in marriage on February 10, 1963, at the Lutheran Church in Canby, Minnesota.  The couple spent 56 years of marriage together and had 2 sons.  The couple lived and farmed outside Russell until 2015 when they moved into Marshall.  In 2018, due to health concerns, they moved to the Minneota Manor Care Center.  In addition to being a good-hearted homemaker and housewife, MaryAnn was a talented cook, baker, and gardener.  She often helped Clarence on the farm and cared for many animals.  MaryAnn enjoyed embroidery, her flower gardens, watching birds, and spending time with her family.

MaryAnn Huck died on July 5, 2020, in Marshall, Minnesota, at the age of 89 years, 6 months, and 12 days.  Blessed be her memory.

She is survived by her husband Clarence Huck of Minneota; sons, Delmond Huck of Apple Valley, Daryl (Lori) Huck of Waukee, IA; grandson, Matthew Huck of Iowa City, IA; 3 sisters, Betty Kellen of Madison, Rosalind Olson of Dawson, Carol (Kenny) Erp of Dawson; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  MaryAnn is preceded in death by her parents, Rudolf and Gudrun Swenson, and a brother, Reynold (Lorraine) Swenson.
